Mishkath Research Institute (MRI) is a think tank established in 2017 by a group of professionals from the Sri Lankan Muslim community. The institute is committed to advancing Islamic thought across social, economic, and cultural spheres, employing fact-based, contextual, and scientific research as its primary methodology. Its work is complemented by community engagement, capacity-building programs, and outreach initiatives.
The vision of the institute is to foster a peaceful and contributory Sri Lankan Muslim society that is well integrated with the mainstream. To achieve this, the institute engages in a range of key activities, including research and consultations, organizing national conferences and symposiums, facilitating dialogues and conversations, providing teaching and training programs, and producing media and publications.
MRI regularly publishes researches and reports that address contemporary issues facing the Muslim community in Sri Lanka, including Zakat management, social finance, ethical governance, and community development. These publications aim to support evidence-based decision-making and promote informed dialogue within society.

NAMA Foundation promotes sustainable development, education, and community empowerment through institutional grants and strategic partnerships. It focuses on education, civil society organizations, and youth development in developing countries, advancing inclusive development aligned with Islamic social finance goals.
